Use this form below to help plan your senate vote in the 2013 federal election.

Once you are happy with your preferences, click the Download PDF or Download one page PDF button to generate a printable version of the ballot paper with preferences that you can bring to the polling booth on election day. Note that choosing this will send your currently selected preferences to the server in order to generate the PDF. This information will never be stored on the server or used in any way beyond generating the PDF. If you are concerned about this, print out a blank ballot (or one page version) and then write down your preferences on it.

If you want to save your progress and come back to this form later, simply bookmark the current page. The bookmark will be a link for this page with your currently selected preferences. This information isn’t sent to the server — the preferences are purely stored in the bookmark address. If you make further changes after bookmarking, they won’t be automatically saved, so don’t forget to bookmark again afterwards!

You should preference all of the candidates when voting below the line to ensure that your vote is formal and will count.

HINT → Not sure where to start? You can begin with a party’s registered preferences by switching to Ballot view (selecting from the drop down that appears to the right of the Clear button), clicking a “1” above the line, then switching back to List view to reorder them.
